Harnesses are better for dogs because there is less pull on the spine and throat than with collars. Protects from injury during pulling or the occasional dart after a squirrel. Provides better control of strong pullers.
Pull tension is transferred to a cushioned breast plate. Tension Lock adjusters ensure a secure, proper, easy fit. Can be adjusted to fit multiple dogs of similar size.
We started with rugged exterior fabric and soft poly knit interior that are laminated to a 3/16-inch closed cell foam. The foam does not absorb water. New for 2010, the laminate is even softer!
An added design bonus is less entanglement in the dog's legs typical with collar / leash connections.

X-Small 10 to 17 inches. Typical weight 4 to 9 lbs.
Small: 18 to 25 inches. Typical weights 10 to 30 lbs.
Medium: 26 to 32 inches. Typical weights 31 to 55 lbs.
Large: 33 to 42 inches. Typical weights 56 to 100 lbs.
Choose larger size if your dog is borderline.
