Search and Rescue TACTICAL HARNESS

Description

We designed our search and rescue tactical harness in collaboration with Nashville K9, a local search and rescue organization. Designs were field-tested for six months.

Our harnesses provide a strong, highly visible, comfortable platform for all-day use.  Our minimalist design is sleek and incorporates key features for both the dog and handler.

Our design can be worn weight-forward towards the dog's front legs or further back.  Further back placement allows for unrestricted breathing during extensive workouts because the belly strap is towards the belly and off of the rib cage.

Key Features:

• 100% reflective 3M fabric fluorescent orange panels on each side.  Panels are virtually rip-proof.
• Day and nighttime visibility.
• Sleek, fully adjustable, comfortable fit.  
• 1.5-inch soft webbing for strength and comfort.
• Raised, highly visible padded grab handle for close control and lifting.
• Velcro entry belly and neck straps provide customized, comfortable fit.
• 1.5-inch welded steel d-ring provides easy clipping to a lead.
• Flat, bar-tacked webbing on each side allows for multiple attachment points for identification or lightweight pouches.
• Silk-screened "Search and Rescue" lettering.

Sizing: 

• Medium - 35 to 60 pounds.
• Large - 61 to 100 pounds.

If your dog is long neck-to-tail but not quite 61 pounds, the large might provide a more proportional fit.

Custom silk-screened panels with your organization name are possible.
